Privacy Statement

The Ports of Philadelphia Maritime Society (“PPMS”) is committed to protecting the privacy of its members, sponsors, donors, volunteers, customers, and website visitors. This policy explains how we collect and use information.

The PPMS collects personal information (name, address, email, phone number, billing information) voluntarily provided through member applications, sponsorships, donations, newsletter sign-ups, event registrations, or contact forms.  PPMS uses the information to process donations and event registrations, donor acknowledgments, and send regular communications such as updates, fundraising appeals, and event announcements (with options to opt-out).

PPMS does not sell, rent, or exchange contact lists or personal information with third parties.  PPMS may share limited information with other PPMS members through a secure membership-only web portal.  PPMS may share data with trusted vendors in the course of necessary business transactions (e.g., payment processors) who are required to maintain strict confidentiality.
